Summary

Names are generated in your browser. We do not run user accounts, and the names you generate or save are not uploaded to a server. We measure aggregate usage with Google Analytics 4, under Google Consent Mode.

Data stored on your device

The site stores your saved favourite names, your colour-theme choice and your cookie choice in your browser's local storage. This stays in the browser profile where it was created. You can clear it with your browser's site-data controls.

Share links

The Share button creates a link ending in ?seed=…. The seed is a short code that reproduces a list of names; it does not contain personal information, but anyone with the link can open the same list.

Hosting and security logs

The site is delivered through web-hosting and network infrastructure (Cloudflare) that may process standard request information such as IP address, requested URL, timestamp and browser details, for delivery, abuse prevention and troubleshooting.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages are viewed and which generators are used. Events record the generator and the chosen style, never the names you generate or save. Analytics runs under Google Consent Mode v2: for visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, analytics storage is denied until you choose "Accept all" in the cookie banner, and "Reject" keeps it denied. Your choice is stored in your browser. Outside those regions, analytics storage is granted by default.

Advertising

The site does not currently show advertising. If we add it, we will configure consent controls where required and update this policy before ads appear.

Your choices

• Clear site data in your browser to remove saved favourites and preferences.
• Choose "Reject" in the cookie banner, or block analytics in your browser.
• Ask us about data we may hold by writing to us.
